This review is part of the 10 Days of Carne Asada Article.

Paco’s Tacos is a cantina style Mexican Restaurant which has some festive decorations. They are known for their margaritas and their chips and salsa. If the crowds are any indicator, this place should be a strong contender to the carne asada throne.

Since the regular carne asada burrito comes with rice and beans, the all meat burrito felt a bit dry. The carne asada was lightly seasoned and the meat’s natural flavor was on point. The chunks of meat were a little to large and made some bites too chewy. The red house salsa was extremely good and lived up to its reputation. Slathering the otherwise dry burrito with the salsa, really stepped up the overall burrito.

Meat Size and Texture: 6
Meat Flavor: 8

Overall Burrito: 8
