This review is part of the 10 Days of Carne Asada Article.Tacos por Favor is located on the Westside in between West LA and Santa Monica. Other than the standard menu options, they have a “Monster Burrito” with shrimp, chicken, and spinach. Although I do love shrimp and chicken, I don’t think I can handle them together in a burrito with spinach added in the mix.
The carne asada burrito was juicy and the meat was cut into perfectly sized tender pieces. The carne asada was very spicy, but a bit on the salty side. Their salsas were both awesome. The red sauce was both spicy and smoky and matched the meat very well. The green sauce was almost like Indian mint chutney. With the carne asada, it made a unique, but very tasty combo.
